1998 Statistical Data Overview
1998 Notes:

In 1998, Carroll and Fayette County shelters had a fiscal year that ran from July 1 to June 30 of the next year. Statistics are included as the originating year. For example, statistics for 7/1/98 - 6/30/99 are included as the year 1998 statistics.

In 1998, Bartow and Clayton County Shelters counted incoming mothers and puppies as one animal but counted them as individuals going out whether they died or were adopted. Because of the statistical inaccuracies this caused, we didn't calculate kill percentages for these shelters.
