Notes:

Carroll and Fayette County shelters the fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30 of the next year.  Statistics are included as the originating year.  For example, statistics for 7/1/98 - 6/30/99 are included as the year 1998 statistics.

In 1998, Bartow and Clayton County Shelters counted incoming mothers and puppies as one animal but counted them as individuals going out. Therefore, we didn't calculate kill percentages for these shelters.

*Fulton County Animal Control (Managed by Atlanta Humane) transfers only to Atlanta Humane Society which posts a kill rate of 38%.  Other tranfers listed in other counties are to no-kill rescue groups.
